Impact of the Context on the Endings of VersesConcluded with the Most Beautiful Names

Abstract

Rhetoric of the Qur'an is replete with many eloquent secrets. The context has a very important role to do in revealing these secrets and identifying their positions. As such, this paper attempts to highlight the significance of the context and the reasons why these verses were concluded with a very specific Name, not any other Name else – an ending which might be unexpected by the reciter of and listener to this Great Qur'an.

Out of the fact that context has an effective role in conveying the meaning that necessitates these very particular endings, this paper aims to reveal these secrets.
