Abu Abdillah bin Abi Ghalib Al-Abdari, his life and views on Arabic Grammar

Abstract

This research attempts to introduce one of the famous grammarians who lived in Al Andalus in its bright history between the sixth and seven centuries.     He left behind him a wealth of knowledge that the old-time hid. The hand of nights and days has folded it.  He is the venerable scholar Abu Abdullah bin Abi Ghalib al-Abdari, whom circumstances did not do justice to, but rather remained unknown to many of the latecomers.

The researcher initially dealt with the era of Ibn Abi Ghalib briefly, then talked about his life; and collected his grammatical opinions, recommendations, and scattered choices. Finally, it highlighted the most important results.
