As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
The research is ready in a PDF file with the researcher’s information
The research is ready in a PDF file without the researcher’s information
The research is ready in a Word file with the researcher’s information
A cover page (in Word format) in both languages includes: the research title, researcher’s name, academic degree, department, college, university, and email address
All Qur’anic verses included in the research or cited within it must be taken from the Mus’haf printed by the King Fahd Glorious Qur’an Printing Complex in Madinah, whether from the first, second, or third edition. Verses taken from the Al-Maktaba Al-Shamela Mus’haf or similar sources will not be accepted
The publication application form is complete, including the declaration and signature
References are romanized in a separate Word file.

Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University Journal (Islamic Sciences) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal issued by the Deanship of Scientific Research at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University. It publishes scholarly research in accordance with the following regulations:
Requirements for a paper to be accepted for publication:
The research must demonstrate originality, innovation, scholarly contribution, methodological rigor, and adherence to sound and objective academic principles.
It must follow recognized scientific methods, tools, and standards in its field.
The paper must demonstrate linguistic accuracy and precision in documentation and referencing.
It must not have been previously published or extracted from another paper, thesis, or book by the author or by others.
The average referee evaluation score must not be less than 80%, and the score of each referee must not be less than 75%.
The researcher must address reviewers’ comments within 20 days.
The research must fall within the scope of the journal.
Requirements upon submitting a research paper:
The author must complete the publication request form, which includes a declaration confirming full ownership of the research’s intellectual property rights and a commitment not to republish it without written approval from the Editorial Board or until five years have passed since its publication.
The paper must not exceed 50 A4 sized pages.
The main text should be in Traditional Arabic, font size 17, and the footnotes in font size 13, with single line spacing.
The author must submit electronic copies of the paper along with abstracts in both Arabic and English, each not exceeding 200 words, including: the research title, name of author, university, college, and department.
References must be Romanized.
Qur’anic verses must be written in the Uthmani script as published in the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an in Madinah.
Footnotes should appear separately at the bottom of each page.
A list of sources and references in Arabic must be included at the end of the paper, followed by a Romanized version.
Sample images of edited manuscripts should be inserted in their appropriate places.
All images and figures related to the research must be attached clearly and legibly.
When foreign names appear in the text, they should be written in Arabic script followed by Latin characters in parentheses, with the full name mentioned only at its first occurrence in the text.
Research papers submitted to the journal are reviewed by at least two referees.
The review process is conducted under strict confidentiality.
