The Islamic Approach (Sharia) in Dealing with Rumors in Crisis Times COVID-19 Crisis as an Example

Abstract

This study sheds light on rumors and how serious they are in the times of crisis, especially in the recent time in which there are different means of communication that help to spread information fast. The researcher aims at explaing the Islamic approach to rumors in the times of crisis to the readers by employing COVID-19 Crisis as an example. Such an approach should be followed when dealing with rumors, either before or after they surface. Moreover, contemporary practices derived from the Islamic approach to deal with the rumors related to COVID-19 Disease are stated. Furthermore, all the instructions and tips stated in this research are summarized at the end.
