Abstract
This study examines the impact of the mutawātir Qur’anic readings (authentically transmitted variant readings of the Qur’an) on the presentation of issues related to Islamic media. The study reveals that these readings have a significant impact on presenting media issues in both their truthful and misleading forms. They also contribute to combating rumours, limiting their spread, addressing them in the most effective way, and correcting societal misconceptions.
The study consists of an introduction, a preface, three main chapters, and a conclusion that presents the most important findings. The introduction includes an overview of the topic, the research methodology, the importance of the subject, the reasons for selecting it, the research boundaries, and its structure. The preface consists of three sections:
- 1. The definition of media, its main functions, and its effects.
- 2. The objectives and key characteristics of Islamic media.
- 3. The relationship between Qur’anic readings and media.
The three main chapters present an analytical study of twenty-two instances of mutawātir readings related to media and its various forms, where the differences in the readings represent a diversity relevant to the topic of the study. Each reading is analysed in terms of the meanings it conveys and the impact of this diversity on the presentation of Islamic media issues.

The profession of media has attained the highest honour, as the Prophets and Messengers conveyed the message of Allah in its most perfect form. The Prophets and Messengers also established the highest ethical principles of communication, including truthfulness in speech, accuracy in transmission, and kindness towards those who differ
