This research focuses on collecting the narrations of Alqamah bin Marthad about which Al-Daraqutni mentioned differences in his book Al-‘Ilal. It explains the aspects of disagreement regarding Alqamah bin Marthad, identifies the narrators for each version among Alqamah’s students, and traces these versions back to their original sources.

The study also examines the conditions of those who differed in the narration, analyzes the nature of the discrepancies, clarifies Al-Daraqutni’s preferred opinion, and presents the views of other leading scholars. Finally, it identifies the strongest opinion regarding these differences based on the recognized criteria of preference in this field and evaluates the hadith according to the most likely version.
