Abstract
Study Summary
This study examines the enhancement of intellectual security in the Basic Law of Governance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study aims to identify the Basic Law of Governance, explain the importance of enhancing intellectual security within it, highlight the key foundations of enhancing intellectual security, and identify the mechanisms of protection against intellectual deviation as stated in the Basic Law.
The study adopts the inductive, deductive, historical, and documentary analytical approaches. The findings of the study show that the Basic Law of Governance clearly emphasises the enhancement of intellectual security and protection against intellectual deviation in sixty-three articles out of a total of eighty-three. This reflects the leadership’s concern for the well-being of the nation and its people.
The study recommends teaching the Basic Law of Governance to students in general education to ensure their understanding of its rich content and highlighting the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in enhancing intellectual security and combating deviant ideologies
