The Tawshi` Style in a Rhetorical Study Illustration and Discussion

Abstract

This research reviews rhetoric scholars contributions which investigate the style of al-tawshi`. It discusses their views about its definition, and how it is interwoven with other rhetorical styles. It also shows the poetic quotations that have been repeatly used in rhetorical works with an explanation of the effect of the al-tawshi` on the readership, in a way that shows its aesthetics and its impact on the literary text.
