Level of awareness of female students of college of social science at Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University to the concept of citizenship Field Study

Abstract

This study aimed to identify  level of awareness of female students of college of social science at Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University to the concept of citizenship. The study used a descriptive method. A (55) items questionnaire on (3) domains was administered to a sample of (330) sociology and psychology female students.

The study results revealed:

1- The mean averages for the sample subjects on the first domain statements was between (2,85-2,99) which is a high ratio ,and the mean general averages were (2,68).

2- The mean averages for the sample subjects on the second domain statements was between (2,85-3) which is a high ratio ,and the mean general averages were (2,86).

3- There were significant differences at level (,01) between the psychology and sociology female students in the level of awareness to the concept of citizenship that was attributed to the variable of specification in favor of sociology female students.

Finally the study concluded with some recommendations.
