Abstract

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a proposed teaching program based on artificial intelligence applications in developing reading comprehension and listening comprehension skills among intermediate school students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study relied on the experimental approach, and the study sample consisted of (60) female students in Al-Jouf region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They were divided into two groups (experimental and control), each group consisting of (30) students. (A proposed teaching program based on artificial intelligence applications, a reading comprehension skills test, and a listening comprehension skills test) were used as study tools prepared by the researcher. The study found that there were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental and control groups in the pre- and post-applications of both reading comprehension skills and listening comprehension skills in favor of the post-application, The conclusion of the study is that it addressed an educational program based on the latest scientific advancements, represented in artificial intelligence applications, which have proven effective in developing reading comprehension and auditory understanding skills. Additionally, artificial intelligence can be used to support scientific processes and skills among students in various disciplines.
