Abstract
The current study aimed to identify the effect of Chromagen filters on improving reading difficulties among female students with learning disabilities in the Al-Jawf region. The study employed an experimental design with a single group, consisting of a sample of 22 students from grades two to six who were diagnosed with dyslexia using diagnostic measures.
The results indicated significant statistical differences at the (α=0.05) level between the ranks of the mean scores of the study sample on the pre-test and post-test of reading speed, favoring the post-test after using Chromagen filters. Additionally, the results showed no significant statistical differences at the (α=0.05) level between the ranks of the mean scores of the experimental group of female students with learning disabilities on the post-test and follow-up test of reading speed.
The study recommended training resource teachers and those working with students with learning disabilities on how to select appropriate Chromagen filters based on the student's condition, as well as understanding their types, duration of use, method of application, and the appropriate timing for their use.
